Champagne Creme Sauce

Ferrante’s Champagne Crème

Servings: 4-6


2 tablespoons butter

3 cloves garlic, finely chopped

3 – 4 small sage leaves, very thinly sliced

1 cup Ferrante’s Sparkling Moscato

1 cup heavy cream

1/2 cup grated Romano cheese

1 tablespoon lemon zest



In a large skillet, on medium heat add butter.  When almost melted add garlic and sage, cook 1-2 minutes.  Add Ferrante’s Sparkling Moscato and simmer until reduced by half, about 4 minutes. Stir in heavy cream and thicken, 6 to 8 minutes. Add the Romano cheese and stir until melted. Finish with fresh lemon zest.  Toss sauce with your favorite pasta and enjoy!
