September is all about CASK!

Fall Flavors so BIG that you will need to visit us more than once this Fall season!

Seasonal favorites have made their way back to our Tasting Room shelves such as Harvest Spice, Mom’s Apple Pie and our Cask Red 1022.  These seasonal wines inspired us to create a menu that pairs perfectly with one of our favorite reds, Cask Red 1022.

Cask Red 1022 is a bold dry red wine aged in a French oak cask.  The wine has aromas and flavors of cherry, raisin with a smooth rich finish. The flavors of this wine inspired our food and wine pairings for the entire month of September.

“The cherry notes in the wine really inspired me to focus on flavors of cherry and those that complement cherry, while creating a balance to really let both wine and food shine,” Chef Kelly Zahn.

The officially release date of the Cask Red 1022 will be the day of the Cask, Corks and Forks event on Saturday September 10th from 12-5pm. This is a progressive wine and food pairing event hosted by the Winegrowers of the Grand River Valley. Guests who visit can sample the finest reds in the valley paired with an appetizer.  Cost is $10 per person at each participating winery and includes a sample of the Cask Red 1022, an additional wine sample and a paired appetizers.

Be sure to stock your cellar at the Cask, Corks & Forks event!  We will be showcasing a couple of BIG savings including a 2 bottle wine box featuring our Grand River Valley Chardonnay & Cask Red 1022 with a stemless logo glass for only $39.99!  That is a savings of $10!!

Any Take Home Bottle of Cask Red 1022 will also be discounted from $34.99 to $29.99 that day only at all participating wineries.
